Nõmme Kalju got invitation from ECA(European Club Association) to take part of ECA Youth Conference which will take place on 14th November 2017 in Munich.
Nõmme Kalju will be represented in Youth Conference by Youth Manager Kristen Viikmäe. Kritsten Viikmäe is very grateful for such an opportunity: ”It’s really good to see how success of our first team in Europe gives us oppurtunities to develop youth work together with top European clubs. I believe that such conferences provide a lot new knowledge that i can bring to our club,” commented Viikmäe.
According to the ECA, the aim of this conference is to discuss best practice and quality areas for improvement at professional youth academies across Europe.
Conference will take place at the Allianz Akademie – FC Bayern Campus & Allianz Arena.
About the Allianz Akademie: the 30-hectare facility incorporates a sports hall for basketball, handball and table tennis, eight football pitches for youth teams from the U-9s to the U-19s and the women’s and girls’ teams, as well as a 2,500 capacity stadium, where the U-17s and the U-19s play their Bundesliga and Youth League matches. The Allianz FC Bayern Akademie, the academy building on the campus, comprises offices for coaches and staff as well as 35 apartments for talents.
